MY HOPE

MY HOPE
Inspired by the intent and mission of Photo Ark photographer Joel Sartore, I take and share photographs of birds (and other wildlife) in my neighborhood with hope that all of us living here will notice them and care for the incredible habitat we share. (Spoonbill Roseate)

SUSAN BARRETT

I'm the author of this blog and a resident of Wildewood Springs IIA in Bradenton, Florida (USA). This is a journal and database of what I learn while living here. I celebrate and write about Wildewood Spring's extraordinary habitat and wildlife and mid-century modern architecture designed by Tim Seibert, one of the founders of the Sarasota School. Seibert designed buildings that fit under the canopy, allowing the stately, native Southern Live Oak and Slash Pine trees to remain. I began posting in December 2015.
