"Bird-nerd delight! I just found out that my October sighting of this Yellow-bellied Flycatcher has been confirmed by an eBird reviewer. (Highly skilled birders personally review all reported rarities.)
Which got me wondering about how rare a bird it actually is here. After looking at eBird data, I learned that mine is the only confirmed observation of the species in Manatee county this year, and one of only five ever reported here."
