I walk in Wildewood often, and just this week I discovered a new nest. At least it was new to me. I confirmed the identity with a birding group, so I'm delighted to say that we have another active nest in the neighborhood! This is a Red-Shouldered Hawk sitting very low in the nest right now. I've visited several times and this is the first photograph where I saw more than the tip of the head. 4/5/18, 7PM.
