Hurricane Matthew was kind to Bradenton. However, our neighbors in Haiti, Cuba, and the Bahamas are seriously affected. Florida's east coast reports downed trees and power lines, debris, flooding, and building damage.
Matthew is now in the cove-shaped coastal area of Georgia and South Carolina. Though Bradenton was under a Tropical Storm Watch Thursday as Matthew moved up the coast, our weather was mild.
Wildewood Springs had very little rain. It was breezy, we had a few gusts.
